Tarot+ Cosmos was an absolutely wonderful class! Each week was so fun and informative. The opening of the classroom circle at the beginning of each week to bring all of our energies together was calming and grounding. Brandon and Angel are so sweet and fun and made us feel comfortable no matter how experienced we were with Tarot. I love how they tied in astrology to the cards too. They were excited to hear our thoughts and questions and their passion for Tarot and astrology really shone through.

We got notes beforehand for each week and they sent us recordings of each class. I learned so much about each Tarot card and how to apply that knowledge to readings, we even learned some spreads to practice. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in Tarot and the Cosmos!

This class was such an important portal for me to not only learn a new language (if we can view the cards as a language), but also into a deeper understanding of my own inner world. Pulling cards is now a daily exercise that helps me view my current state of mind and stories I'm telling myself through a prism: observing my reality in a new light, or from a different angle, challenged or lovingly affirmed.

I am a beginner to tarot and was seeking to further my knowledge and understanding of the cards individually and as a whole. The Spiritual Gayz created a safe and enthusiastic environment for learning in their Tarot + Cosmos class. I loved the combination of tarot with an intro to astrology and highly recommend this class for people of all experience levels as it is incredibly valuable!

B + A are beautifully paired to guide you through the world of tarot. They’ve created a community that fosters inclusivity, love, and learning. Not only do you learn the nuts and bolts of the varied decks, but also are encouraged to embrace your intuition and all the possibilities the cards present for interpretation. I’m so happy I made myself take this course.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Spiritual Gayz Tarot + Cosmos course.  It is an adventurous journey through the cards delivered with loving and respectful guidance by Brandon and Angel.  They bring deep knowledge and provide a sacred space that optimizes the learning experience.  They were quite helpful in answering questions and providing resources for material beyond the class that could further enhance your learning.   Love and laughter definitely were present throughout the course.  The class for me was a portal that has opened up a deep yearning for learning that is aligned with shaping my soul purpose moving forward in this lifetime.

I knew I wanted to take this course, as I’m a big fan of the Spiritual Gayz podcast, but I wasn’t sure if I was going to be any good. Brandon and Angel were very warm, caring, and thoughtful during this whole process and helped me develop my confidence. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable, they both have unique skills and their own perspectives on both Tarot and the Zodiac. While the information on these subjects is vast and has the potential in someone else’s hands to be overwhelming, they presented everything in a very relaxed and cohesive manner. It was apparent that a great deal of effort was applied to the information distributed, yet Brandon and Angel made it seem effortless and there was an easy flow to it. Even when I was nervous about doing a reading, there was never any pressure. Everything was met with reassurance and positive support. After leaving each class I always felt uplifted, inspired, and connected a bit more to my own insight and the spirit of what we were all working towards. I am grateful for the energy and wisdom that Brandon and Angel shared and are putting out into the world in a time when we all need it, desperately. Yes, I loved this class -and yes, it was absolutely worth it! If you’re thinking about taking a class with Brandon and Angel but aren’t sure about it  -do yourself a favor and sign up. You won’t regret it!

As someone who is new to studying tarot and astrology, the TAROT + COSMOS course gave me a really great foundational experience that also allowed me to tap into my intuition.  And, it was FUN!!

This was such a fantastic class overall. Brandon and Angel bring such a delightful energy to everything spiritual - combining their wonderful love, unique gifts as healers (queelers!!), deep studies of astrology and tarot, humor, and practical advice into the tarot. I so loved learning from them and having a beautiful container to process with and learn from others in the class. The class was something I looked forward to every week - whether I could make it live or even just soaking in the energy from the class recordings - as it brightened my day and brought a new type of wisdom to my tarot practice.

I have been listening to The Spiritual Gayz podcast for a while now and this class was every bit as grounded, healing, and sassy as any episode I've ever listened to. Angel and Brandon's love for one another pours out every class and to be taught tarot from this place is honestly one of the best learning experiences I've ever had. It's accessible and inclusive which is rare in healing circles right now. There is no question to big or small and they really take the time to answer them. Novice or experienced readers can get so much wisdom from them. The class was about so much more than tarot, it was about about working with spirit and tarot is one of the many tools these two have in their kit. Can't wait for the next one.

Whenever I tried to learn Tarot in the past, I've always felt overwhelmed by the history and the many possible meanings for so many cards. How Brandon and Angel teach this class makes Tarot very approachable and, most importantly, fun. Step-by-step, I learned the cards and how they interact and to trust my intuition. I'm still learning, but I feel completely comfortable exploring and pulling cards now. -

- Anne

I took it because I was so curious and drawn to Tarot, but what I learned was much more powerful. I got my moneys worths the first couple of hours and it keeps on giving. It's truly a unique and authentic approach to the cards and the planets. And, for me, it's been a portal to stepping into my own power.

Brandon is one of the most popular Tarot readers we’ve featured on The Numinous. Not only is his knowledge beyond compare, he has an infectiously upbeat attitude that makes learning about the Tarot so much fun!

–Ruby Warrington, founder of the Numinous and author of Sober Curious & Material Girl, Mystical World

I attended Brandon Alter’s Tarot class and the experience exceeded my expectations! Brandon has a way of making the cards come alive in a way that is both practical and magical. He creates a sacred space during the class where one is free to explore the Tarot as well as connect with each other. I really appreciated Brandon’s warm and engaging teaching style, as well as the way he emphasizes working in spiritual integrity and right relationship with the Earth. I cannot recommend this class highly enough, and I’m ready for Part Deux!!

–Michelle Kole, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

The way Brandon teaches the deck is genius!  Instead of asking us to memorize 78 cards, he gave us a foundation of the suits, numerology and archetypes so we could apply them to a spread.  Most importantly, I left confident to let go of the rigor of the Tarot and trust my instincts and intuition. And it was a fun, safe, encouraging environment!

–Courtney Sieberling, Author of Yoga’s Yamas and Niyamas: 10 Principles for Peace and Purpose

I def used to be someone who always had to rely on my books when doing a spread; but Brandon’s class really unlocked the intuitive side of reading.  He helped me understand the internal structure of the Tarot in a way that’s let me truly interpret the cards.  Nto a reading goes by that I don’t think of the insights that came to me during our classes.

–Jory, artist

Brandon is an amazingly thoughtful and deep practitioner and teacher of tarot – taking his class opened my own personal practice in ways that continue to unfold more than a year later! Brandon of course illuminates the meanings but he also creates a sacred space and community around the cards which to me was truly the initiation I needed to move from someone who dabbled in tarot to understanding how this intuitive practice can bring infinitely unfolding healing and insights. Best class I’ve ever taken, period!

—Jessica, filmmaker

I love working with Brandon because he is such a generous teacher. He meets you where you are and he brings such joyful, fun anecdotes to all his readings, classes, and healings. You would be lucky to work with Brandon in any respect, but I highly recommend his Tarot class, as a genuine and modern way to see the Tarot as meaningful part of our everyday lives.

—Jenn, public relations

Brandon’s unique and light-hearted viewpoint gave me confidence in reading tarot — and helped me find the joy!! I read for myself daily for clarity and guidance, and just gave my first public readings to great success and great FUN. Thank you, Brandon!!

—Autumn, actress

If you are interested in learning the art of tarot, Brandon Alter’s class is a must! Brandon explains the concepts in a simple yet powerful way that feels modern and inclusive. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by all of the cards, I felt empowered. A year and a half later, I continue to read for friends and through word of mouth I’ve actually started a small practice!

—Samuel, student
