SUGGESTIONS
The High Desert is a popular destination for sure, so we recommend booking your lodging as soon as you can to ensure you get the best rate and first choice on your desired accommodations.
If you're flying, book now! We've been told that flights are super reasonable at the moment. The closest airport is the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) but it is a smaller airport with limited options. If you can't find something that works for you there, LAX is probably your best bet or the Burbank airport (BUR) out of Los Angeles. You might also look into flights via San Diego International Airport (SAN), Ontario International Airport (ONT) which is located outside San Bernardino and John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana. Wherever you land, just know that you will need a car to get you out (and back) from the desert.
The retreat property is located around the pin in map below. This may help you locate something nearby. If you don’t mind a bit of a drive (45 minutes or so), you could also seek out lodging in Palm Springs or Desert Hot Springs. But as we will be ending later in the evenings, we suggest finding something in the Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, Joshua Tree or Twentynine Palms vicinity.
The following are places we can vouch for as clean and safe and cute. Some of them we’ve stayed in before, but not all. Please do not feel like you have to book something from this list. We’re just trying to help.
